The first public open house was held on May 14th, 2026. This was a kickoff for community engagement. Demographic and Census data were presented, but the focus was on listening to you. We asked community members about their wants, vision, challenges, and favorite things about Marquette County. This input will be used to shape policies and the vision of the plan update.

The existing comprehensive plan was written in 2015. This update will refresh, rebrand, and reshape the existing plan. The goal is built upon these ideas and align them with the County’s current vision.
